<p>It is for the UN Special Envoy for Syria, Staffan De Mistura, to decide on representation on the Constitutional Committee. A number of opposition groups, including the Syrian Negotiations Commission, have submitted candidates for inclusion in the Committee, and the Special Envoy stated in his briefing to the UN Security Council last month that agreement on the opposition list of fifty names had been reached.</p>
