answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/06/2020 answer text <p>Independent sources, including the UN Fact Finding Mission, have been clear that the Myanmar military is responsible for human rights violations across the country.</p><p>The UK is a longstanding supporter of an arms embargo on Myanmar as well as targeted individual sanctions on those responsible for atrocities.</p><p>The EU Arms Embargo and 14 individual designations continue to apply in the UK for the duration of the transition period.
