answer text <p>Delays to the completion of the Gospel Oak to Barking rail electrification project, delivered by Network Rail, were owing to difficulties in design of the scheme, which led to delays in installation of the new infrastructure. The electrification scheme is now complete and the delay will not impact on the introduction of the new electric rolling stock, which will bring significant benefits to both passengers and lineside neighbours.</p> more like this
