The UK took the decision to suspend flights from Sharm el Sheikh in November 2015 following the Metro Jet attack to protect the travelling public.

The UK Government continues to work closely with its Egyptian counterparts, sharing expertise in establishing effective security arrangements at all Egyptian airports including Sharm el-Sheikh.

It is for each country to define what security requirements they need to protect their citizens. However, it is long standing government policy not to comment in detail on security matters. We look forward to achieving the return of flights once we can be assured that the necessary security requirements can be sustained.
more like this

answer text
There have been no specific discussions with the CAA on the implementation of Class E airspace in UK. In accordance with the Air Navigation Directions 2017, the policy on the classification of airspace and its implementation lies with the independent airspace regulator, the Civil Aviation Authority.

However, as The Government continues to modernise our airspace, it needs to be mindful of longer term changes that will have an impact on wider airspace management. This includes the increasing need to enable the safe integration, rather than segregation, of all aircraft. This is why, as part of the Aviation Strategy, The Department is working with the CAA to explore a new policy on mandating electronic identification for all users.
more like this

answer text
The cessation of tolling at the Severn Bridges will remove the need for staff roles that are involved directly in frontline tolling operations or back office support. On 12 October 2018, Highways England notified those affected that they were at potential risk of redundancy, and commenced a formal minimum 45 day consultation period with recognised Trade Unions and individuals to determine those interested in redeployment and outplacement learning. This will include practical training, emotional and coaching support and opportunities for individuals. Highways England will undertake and complete outplacement learning and support following completion of this current consultation process for those individuals who require this.
more like this
