answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/09/2023 answer text <p>The Department has implemented and embedded the policy requirements within Procurement Policy Note (PPN) 06/21, taking account of Carbon Reduction Plans in the procurement of major Government contracts within its commercial activity. The Department has applied the provisions of this PPN to relevant procurements advertised on or after 30 September 2021. Awareness sessions were delivered to commercial staff prior to the policy going live, and annually thereafter. Its approach to contractual payment mechanisms balances the efficient operation of its construction contracts and management of public money against the expectations of the construction sector. The value of the financial communication services contract is subject to a procurement exercise but will not exceed £115,000 for the term of the contract.
