answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/06/2022 answer text <p>As was set out in the Bill of Rights consultation, the UK remains fully committed to the international human rights treaties to which it is party.</p><p>The Bill of Rights will ensure those rights in the European Convention on Human Rights can be interpreted in the UK context, with respect for our legal traditions and the will of elected lawmakers.</p><p>The UK has two EU adequacy decisions, under the General Data Protection Regulation and the Law Enforcement Directive. As the European Commission itself has made clear, a third country is not required to have exactly the same rules as the EU in order to be considered adequate. Indeed, there are thirteen other countries which have EU adequacy, including Israel, Japan, New Zealand and Canada. All of these nations pursue independent and varied approaches to data protection and human rights.</p><p>The UK is firmly committed to maintaining high data protection standards and ensuring that rights and liberties are protected - this will not change. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/06/2022 answer text <p>The independent review into the regulation of Football Index, undertaken by Malcolm Sheehan QC and published last September, identified lessons to be learnt and provided recommendations for both the Gambling Commission and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).</p><p>Both regulators have taken steps to address the issues identified in the report. The Gambling Commission has updated the frameworks for risk based regulation so that product novelty is properly considered alongside other factors in determining the level of scrutiny an operator is placed under. The Commission has also consulted on tighter rules for the terminology used to describe gambling products.</p><p>The Commission and FCA have also worked together to strengthen their Memorandum of Understanding in response to Mr Sheehan’s recommendations, including with new escalation routes and commitments on timeliness of responses to ensure regulatory impasses can not remain unsolved. I have met with the French Minister for Sport, who has also apologised and has commissioned a review of the delivery of the event.</p><p>Liverpool Football Club are collating fan experiences, via their website, to contribute to the investigations, and I urge fans to send accounts of their experiences to the club.
