answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/05/2022 answer text <p>The Government is determined to ensure that our public service broadcasters (PSBs) can maintain their position as the beating heart of the UK’s hugely successful creative economy.</p><p>On 28 April 2022 the government published its broadcasting White Paper – Up Next – which sets out our vision for the sector. Rapid changes in technology, viewing habits and the entrance of global players have introduced new challenges for British broadcasters. Against that backdrop of rapid change, we need to take action to support British broadcasters in meeting the most pressing of those challenges, to protect our mixed ecology, and ensure our PSBs remain at the heart of our plans.</p><p>The White Paper details how we will reform decades-old broadcasting laws to boost our PSBs, including by delivering a new public service remit for television and making sure public service content is always carried and easy to find for UK audiences on connected devices and major online platforms. This is the list of prospective sites to go forward for the World Heritage Committee’s consideration for inscribing new sites on the World Heritage List.</p><p>We expect the Committee to make a decision on whether to add the Flow Country to the World Heritage List at their meeting in 2024. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/05/2022 answer text <p>The Government remains committed to the ambition set out in both the Tourism Sector Deal, and more recently in the Tourism Recovery Plan, for the UK to be the most accessible tourism destination in Europe by 2025.</p><p>VisitEngland’s Inclusive Tourism Action Group comprises a range of leading accessible tourism stakeholders who share the vision for England to provide world-class accessible tourism experiences that every person with accessibility requirements can enjoy. The chair of the group, Ross Calladine, is the government's newly appointed Disability and Access Ambassador for Tourism.</p><p>The group undertakes a range of activities to increase engagement of tourism destinations and businesses in the provision of access for all and to raise awareness of accessible tourism experiences amongst disabled people.</p><p>VisitEngland is currently undertaking a review of the <a href="https://www.visitengland.com/plan-your-visit/access-all/national-accessible-scheme" target="_blank">National Accessible Scheme (NAS)</a> that helps accommodation owners in England develop and promote their level of accessibility and helps people with accessibility requirements identify suitable accommodation more easily. It comprises a comprehensive <a href="https://visitenglandassessmentservices.com/our-schemes/national-accessiblescheme/" target="_blank">set of standards</a> and, for a fee, assessment by a trained independent assessor.
