Progress has been steady with more time requested by all parties for bilateral discussions as each platform operates differently. Consequently, substantive progress has been made with a Memorandum of Understanding currently in draft phase. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/07/2019 answer text <p>As announced in last year’s loneliness strategy, ‘A connected society - A strategy for tackling loneliness’, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, has partnered with the Local Government Association to run a series of pilots to explore how local authorities and their partners can capture and share information on local activities and support that might help to tackle loneliness.</p><p>Partners across local government, digital experts and representatives from the voluntary sector have helped to shape the scope of the pilots. Building on existing work carried out with local authorities to provide quality assured categorised place-wide service data, these pilots will seek to test and refine data standards and taxonomies, investigate ways of collecting information to make them more efficient, accurate and sustainable, and explore how stakeholders from a range of sectors can be motivated to capture this data and keep it up to date. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/10/2018 answer text <p>The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport has commissioned research into cyber security roles in the UK Labour Market, which includes private organisations, charities and public sector organisations of a variety of sizes and sectors.</p><p> </p><p>The research is focused on identifying what are cyber security skills, who works in cyber security roles (size of cyber security teams, level of seniority, skills set of the individuals), what are the current skills available and what are the current skills gaps in the market.</p><p> </p><p>Once complete, we expect to publish this research and its recommendations which will then feed into our strategic development of cyber security skills interventions going forward. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2018 answer text <p>As set out in the response to the Consultation on proposed changes to Gaming Machines and Social Responsibility Measures on 17th May, the government considers that Local Authorities have sufficient existing powers in relation to gambling-related harm.</p><p> </p><p>We encourage Local Authorities to continue making use of these powers to manage gambling at a local level, alongside working with the Gambling Commission to ensure the effective deployment of the existing tools at their disposal. However, in January 2018 the Department for Digital, Culture, Media &amp; Sport committed to use £55 million from new tranches of dormant asset funding on financial inclusion in England. This money will be put towards increasing the use of fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services. The Government has made over £200bn available to local authorities to spend on local services over this Spending Review.</p><p>The Government is committed to making sure young people have opportunities to develop their skills and participate in their communities. The Office for Civil Society (OCS), now based in DCMS, has spent over £667m on youth programmes and supporting youth service delivery between 2014/15 and 2017/18 - with £190m of that being spent in 2017/18.
