My department is keen to raise the profile of women's sport in the media and encourage more commercial investment into women's sport. Since the Olympics in 2012, there has been a notable increase in the coverage of women's sport on terrestrial television, including the 2017 UEFA Women's European Championships and the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup.
