answer text <p>The department produces annual employment statistics for the creative industries, published as part of DCMS’s economic estimates. The numbers of EU and non-EU nationals employed in the creative industries in 2018 are given in the table below. answer text <p>We intend to discuss mobility arrangements in a defined number of areas as part of negotiations on our future relationship with the EU. A reciprocal agreement based on best precedent will mean that UK citizens will be able to undertake some business activities in the EU without a work permit, on a short-term basis. The same would apply for EU citizens making business visits to the UK. All provisions are subject to negotiation, and we recognise the significance of this to the UK’s world renowned music industry.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>These mobility arrangements will only represent what we agree reciprocally with the EU. The UK will set the rules in relation to immigration and mobility where no commitments are taken in negotiations.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government is committed to supporting the UK’s thriving cultural and creative economy, and will continue to invest in the UK's cultural and creative sectors to support their world-class activity on the international stage. While the Government has made the decision not to seek participation in Creative Europe’s 2021-27 programme, we will consider domestic alternatives in the upcoming Comprehensive Spending Review. It should be noted that current UK beneficiaries will continue to benefit from EU programmes for the lifetime of the project, which in some cases goes beyond 2020.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The word ‘ownership’ usually implies certain rights over a property such as being able to use it, sell it or give it away, but this is unlikely to be a workable concept in the wide range of circumstances that processing of personal data occurs. Data protection legislation in the UK does, however, impose obligations on data controllers to process personal data lawfully and transparently in a way that individuals would expect. It also gives individuals specific rights in relation to their data. answer text <p>For the 2017-21 cycle, Sport England has invested £268,588 in 34 basketball projects over the period including 10 projects for women and girls. These projects include Basketball England’s SlamJam for boys and girls aged 7-11 delivering basketball in a fun way in schools and clubs and Junior NBA created for boys and girls aged 11-13 in secondary schools.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Sport England have also awarded ten small grants between 2018-2020 totalling £80,950 in grassroots projects delivering basketball that explicitly target women and girls.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Separately Basketball England, who receive Sport England funding, have launched All Girl Basketball. This campaign aims to make girls aged 11-16 aware of opportunities to engage with basketball and convert that awareness into participation.</p><p><strong><br></strong>UK Sport are also investing in basketball: for the current funding cycle (2017-21) GB Basketball received £500,000 as a ring fenced grant which was spent between both the men’s and women’s squads. The national women’s team also received an additional £330,500 from UK Sport's Aspiration Fund to support them as part of their qualification campaign for Tokyo 2020. In total GB Basketball have received £830,500 of public funding to support the sport in their Tokyo qualification campaign.</p>

answer text <p>The Department for Digital, Culture, Media &amp; Sport does not hold any information on the Rugby Football Union’s (RFU) plans to reduce funding for championship clubs. The stewardship of rugby union in England is the responsibility of the RFU, as the National Governing Body for the sport. The Government expects good governance from all our sports bodies, as set out in the sports governance code.</p><p> </p><p>Through Sport England, government has invested £11.53m into grassroots rugby union in the three years to 2018/19. This includes investment in both the RFU as the national governing body for the sport, together with investment in specific community rugby union projects. Over this time period, Sport England has invested a further £12.61m in multi-sport projects where rugby union is one of the sports benefitting.</p><p> </p> more like this
