answer text <p>Local authorities are responsible for allocating funding to youth services in line with local need. The Government has made over £200bn available to local authorities to spend on local services over this Spending Review.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is committed to making sure young people have opportunities to develop their skills and participate in their communities. The Office for Civil Society (OCS) has spent over £475m on youth programmes and supporting youth service delivery between 2014/15 and 2016/17 - the first full financial year that youth policy sat in OCS to the last completed financial year.</p><p> </p> more like this

To achieve this, in 2014 we introduced the Family Test, which aims to ensure that impacts on family relationships and functioning are recognised early on during the process of policy development and help inform the policy decisions made by Minsters. The Family Test was not designed to be a ‘tick-box’ exercise, and as such there is no requirement for departments to publish the results of assessments made under the Family Test.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government has been working with the hospitality sector across the country to understand the challenges and opportunities presented by the UK’s exit from the EU. At the recent Tourism Industry Council Professor Alan Manning, Chair of the Migration Advisory Committee, heard the sector’s views on the contribution of international employees and what the sector’s priorities are for the future immigration system. The sector has also agreed a proposal for a tourism sector deal which has a strong focus on developing domestic skills to meet employer demand and improving the attractiveness of the sector as a career path.</p><p> </p><p>The government wants businesses to benefit from the right skills, which is why we are working with employers to invest in training such as apprenticeships and high-quality technical education.
