answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/07/2018 answer text <p>The Gambling Commission requires all operators licensed under the Gambling Act 2005 to make a contribution towards the research, prevention and treatment of gambling-related harm. It does not specify how much this should be, nor which organisations should be supported.</p><p> </p><p>GambleAware is the leading charity commissioning research, education and treatment, and currently asks operators to donate a minimum of 0.1% of their Gross Gambling Yield (GGY). Most do, with GambleAware receiving £9.4m in 2017/18. Industry also made donations to other bodies supporting research, education and treatment, bringing industry’s collective support for RET to above 0.1% of its GGY.</p><p><ins class="ministerial">We considered research, education and treatment as part of our Review of Gaming Machines and Social Responsibility and published our response on 17 May. The Review looked at protections across the gambling industry and support for those who experience harm, including the arrangements for funding support.</ins></p><p><ins class="ministerial">We want to see an effective and sustainable voluntary system, with improved coordination and better understanding of what measures are most effective to ensure future funding increases will be spent in the most effective way. Our response outlined a number of initiatives for improving the current system, increasing access to services and strengthening the evidence base. We are increasing the number of people trained in Community Organising to 10,000 by 2020 and investing £4.5m in the Place Based Social Action Fund in partnership with Big Lottery Fund to support partnerships of local residents, civil society organisations, service providers and local authorities in 20 areas to come together to address local priorities through social action. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/05/2018 answer text <p>We have committed more than £10 million in LIBOR funds to support the National Commemorative events delivered by my Department, which mark the key milestones of the First World War Centenary. These have commemorated the Gallipoli Campaign, the battles of Jutland, the Somme and Passchendaele, and a variety of events to be delivered in 2018. All of the events have included female voices, and have reflected the roles played by women and the impact of the war on women.</p><p> </p><p>The Government’s wider programme is designed to support communities and organisations in telling stories of greatest relevance to them through commemorative events, exhibitions and other projects. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/03/2018 answer text <p>The Audiovisual Media Services Regulations 2014 was introduced to regulate R18-rated video-on-demand content and ban the provision of video-on-demand material that has been or would be refused a classification by the British Board of Film Classification. The Audiovisual Media Services Regulations 2014 amended the Communications Act 2003, which is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, and will thus continue to apply after we exit the EU. We will use the powers within the Withdraw Bill to ensure that the content in question is still regulated after we leave the EU.</p><p> </p><p>Cross-border broadcasting is currently regulated by the Audiovisual Media Services Directive (AVMSD) which allows the UK-based broadcasting licensees to broadcast freely into the EU. In her Mansion House speech earlier this month, the Prime Minister stated that the UK should “explore creative options with an open mind, including mutual recognition which would allow for continued transfrontier broadcasting.” We understand that this will be a difficult negotiation, but remain absolutely committed to securing the best possible deal for the UK and for the broadcasting sector. Just under 80% of these have been issued to SMEs.</p><p> </p><p>Cyber Essentials is one of many ways in which the Government is supporting SMEs to improve their cyber security resilience.
