answer text <p>The release of £330m of dormant accounts announced on 4 January will be used to help the homeless, disadvantaged young people, financial inclusion initiatives and other good causes in the UK over the next four years. The government will work closely with the Big Lottery Fund, as well as a range of social sector and private sector partners to develop these initiatives over the coming months, and further details on how these funds will be distributed will be announced this year. The government remains committed to a thriving and sustainable voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Evidence has shown that the easy availability and nature of online pornography is changing the way children understand healthy relationships, sex and consent. The Digital Economy Act 2017 will require commercial providers of online pornography to have robust age verification controls in place to prevent children from accessing pornographic material online, as is already the case offline. We do not have plans to restrict adults' access to this content and this issue was not specifically highlighted in the Internet Safety Strategy.</p><p> </p><p>The Strategy does look more widely at how we can build users' digital literacy skills and includes initiatives which will help users access the benefits of the Internet, while managing potential risks.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government is clear that as a public service broadcaster funded by the licence fee, the BBC has a responsibility to set an example for others and lead the way in promoting equality in the workplace, and the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport speaks to the BBC on this. The Equality and Human Rights Commission is the regulatory body responsible for policing equal pay and it is for them, not the Government, to investigate this matter and take further action if necessary.</p> more like this

answer text <p>VisitBritain and VisitEngland promote England both domestically and abroad. In 2018, they have two main campaigns: “Join The World, Discover the UK” (in partnership with VisitScotland and VisitWales) promoting the UK domestically and “I Travel For”, a global campaign promoting English destinations.</p><p> </p><p>Ongoing work includes the English Gateways partnership with regional airports, a partnership with Expedia featuring English destinations, promoting England through English Tourism Week and supporting the Great Exhibition of the North.</p><p> </p><p>The three year £40m Discover England Fund is also developing a range of products promoting English destinations to markets abroad. Projects include support for the South West Coastal Path (in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall) and the Coastal Pass (which runs along the East Coast of England).</p> more like this

answer text <p>The United Kingdom has not ratified the Convention and it is not obliged to comply with its Articles. Government has however adopted the principles set out in its Annex as best practice in the archaeological and cultural management of underwater sites and artefacts.</p><p> </p><p>The National Maritime Information Service also actively monitors maritime activity around the UK and can track or monitor suspicious activity around wreck sites, if there is a need to do so.</p> more like this
