Some activities - such as those organised for under-18s - are exempt. Live comedy is a much loved part of the British cultural landscape. Comedy venues and organisations are eligible for support through the package.</p><p>The Culture Recovery Fund will provide targeted support to organisations in the cultural and heritage sectors. The Fund is being delivered by Arts Council England, the British Film Institute, Historic England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund, who are currently considering applications. Live comedy is a much loved part of the British cultural landscape. Comedy venues and organisations will be eligible to apply for support through the package.</p><p>The Live Comedy Association attends the regular ministerially-chaired roundtables that ensure we are assisting all our Creative Industries sectors as effectively as possible. Guidance has been published by Arts Council England, the British Film Institute, Historic England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund for applicants to the Culture Recovery Grants application rounds, and by Arts Council England for applicants to the Repayable Finance Scheme. Further details on eligibility and application processes are available in the published guidance.</p><p> </p><p>This funding will provide targeted support to organisations across a range of sectors, with one of our core objectives being to support the cultural organisations that are crucial to places across the whole country. We will ensure that funding is distributed fairly, and that smaller organisations and cultural venues that are at the centre of their communities are protected.</p><p> </p><p>We also recognise the crucial role that individuals play in making our arts and creative industries world-leading. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/07/2020 answer text <p>We are committed to reopening creative businesses, including live entertainment venues, in line with the latest Government regulations and advice.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport recently set out a five stage roadmap that the government will work through to get the performing arts and live entertainment sectors back up and running as soon as possible:</p><ul><li><p>Stage One - Rehearsal and training (no audiences)</p></li><li><p>Stage Two - Performances for broadcast and recording purposes</p></li><li><p>Stage Three - Performances outdoors with an audience and pilots for indoor performances with a limited socially-distanced audience</p></li><li><p>Stage Four - Performances allowed indoors and outdoors (but with a limited socially-distanced audience indoors)</p></li><li><p>Stage Five - Performances allowed indoors / outdoors (with a fuller audience indoors)</p></li></ul><p><strong><br></strong>We moved to Stage Three on the 11th July.
