answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/10/2022 answer text <p>The Government has not yet published a consultation on developing a tourist accommodation registration scheme in England.</p><p>In June, DCMS issued a call for evidence on the benefits and challenges presented by the rise in short-term and holiday letting seen in England over the last 10 to 15 years. This will inform the development of appropriate policy options, which the government intends to consult on later in 2022. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/05/2022 answer text <p>The Tourism Recovery Plan, published in June 2021, included a commitment to consult on a Tourism Accommodation Registration Scheme in England.</p><p>Ahead of this, however, the government intends to launch a call for evidence that will seek views on a range of issues that arise from the increase in short term and holiday letting.</p><p>First, I want to gather information that will improve the government’s understanding of the benefits and challenges of the increase in short-term and holiday letting we have seen in England in recent years. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/01/2022 answer text <p>The Government intends to launch a consultation later in 2022, but will begin the process by launching a call for evidence in the coming weeks.</p><p>The call for evidence will seek views on a range of issues that arise from the increase in short-term holiday letting, not just on housing supply but also on matters such as compliance with health and safety regulations and the impact on anti-social behaviour.</p><p>I have already begun the process of informally consulting with stakeholders across the sector on this issue.
