answer text <p>DCMS does not hold this information. The amount the National Lottery operator spends on advertising is a commercial decision, subject to conditions set out in the licence which specify minimum amounts that must be spent on marketing. For the current year the figure is £72m or 1.07% sales, whichever is higher.
