The Government has made over £200bn available to local authorities to spend on local services over this Spending Review and will hold discussions with the Treasury on the full range of DCMS responsibilities ahead of future spending reviews.</p><p>We recognise the importance of local youth services and the Government is committed to making sure young people have opportunities to develop their skills and participate in their communities. These plans were published on the Public Accounts Committee website on 3rd November 2017.</p><p>Furthermore, improving governance was one of the key aims of the National Citizen Service Act (2017).
