answer text <p>Sport operates independently of government, therefore direct representations to the International Cricket Council on the participation of Afghan women and girls in cricket would be a matter for the England and Wales Cricket Board to raise.</p><p>The Government is supportive of efforts to promote the participation of women in sport, and is pleased the UK is hosting the Secretariat of the International Working Group on Women and Sport over the next three years.</p><p> </p> more like this
