<p>Decisions relating to museum collections are a matter for the trustees of each museum, who operate independently of the government. This includes the institutions’ responses to requests for repatriation of human remains. The Natural History Museum will consider any request for the return of human remains, and we understand they are working with Zimbabwe on this matter.</p>
