answer text <p>Government contributes a significant amount of funding to the voluntary sector through grants and contracts. According to the latest figures from the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, government contributed a total of £14.4 billion annually to the sector, £7.3 billion of which came from central government. We do not hold information on total funding for charities in individual boroughs.</p> more like this
