answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/04/2021 answer text <p>As set out in the Energy White Paper, the Government will provide a clear path for moving away from fossil fuels, including natural gas, in homes over the next fifteen years as consumers replace their appliances.</p><p>By the mid-2030s, we expect all newly installed heating systems to be low carbon or to be appliances that we are confident can be converted to a clean fuel supply. In order to achieve this ambition, we are moving forward with plans to deploy low carbon technologies, having set a target for 600,000 heat pump installations per year by 2028. We are also continuing to support research and development projects to help determine the feasibility of using low carbon hydrogen for domestic purposes including trials planned throughout the decade.</p><p>For new homes, the Government is introducing the Future Homes Standard by 2025. We expect that homes built to the Future Homes Standard will have carbon dioxide emissions 75-80% lower than those built to current Building Regulations standards, which means they will be fit for the future, with low carbon heating and very high fabric standards. We encourage employers to provide appropriate support to women who have suffered a miscarriage and respond sensitively to each individual’s specific needs.</p><p> </p><p>The current entitlement to Parental Bereavement Leave and Pay applies to employed parents of children under the age of 18 and those who suffer a stillbirth.</p><p> </p><p>Because the death of a child is particularly tragic, in April 2020, we legislated to give parents who lose a child under the age of 18, including cases where a baby is stillborn after 24 completed weeks of pregnancy, a right to take up to 2 weeks off work in the 56 weeks following the death of their child. The policy is mapped against the clinical definition of a ‘stillbirth’: 24 weeks is a legally and medically important point in a pregnancy as it is the clinical age of viability.</p><p> </p><p>Individuals who do not feel able to return to work following a miscarriage may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay while off work. Friend the Prime Minister announced through his 10 Point Plan, we plan to hold our most ambitious auction to date for renewable electricity later on this year. The Contracts for Difference (CfD) scheme has been hugely successful in delivering renewable electricity for Great Britain and we hope to build on this success in Auction Round 4. We are preparing for this right now and as with previous rounds, we will seek to balance our objectives of achieving secure, decarbonised electricity at low cost. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/04/2021 answer text <p>Renewable deployment has been a huge success in the UK and renewable generation has more than quadrupled since 2010, totalling 37% of electricity generation in 2019 (source: Digest of UK Energy Statistics 2020). Our continued support has seen the cost of renewable technologies fall – the cost of offshore wind, for example, has fallen by more than two thirds since 2015.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has committed up to £557 million for future Contracts for Difference auctions, with the next allocation round due to take place later this year. We continue to evolve the Contracts for Difference scheme and have recently engaged with industry through a call for evidence, looking at how to balance enabling deployment with minimising system costs and, therefore, costs to consumers. This will be used to inform the design of future allocation rounds.</p><p> </p><p>The costs incurred by renewable energy projects when connecting to the grid are a matter for Ofgem, as the independent regulator. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/04/2021 answer text <p>The greenhouse gas emissions associated with different hydrogen production methods depend on a wide range of factors such as the feedstock energy, the efficiency of the hydrogen production plant and the CO<sub>2</sub> capture rate for carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS) enabled blue hydrogen production.</p><p>BEIS is working with industry, academia and regulators on understanding and comparing options for an emissions standard that will define low carbon hydrogen. Friend the Prime Minister’s 10 Point Plan confirmed our aim, working with industry, for 5GW of low carbon hydrogen production capacity by 2030 for use across the economy. Friend Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer regularly to discuss all aspects of my portfolio.</p><p>My Rt. Hon. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/04/2021 answer text <p>I am answering the question under the assumption that it refers to the designation of businesses for the purpose of eligibility for Restart Grants.</p><p> </p><p>The primary principle of the Restart Grant scheme is to support businesses that offer in-person services, where the main service and activity takes place in a fixed rate-paying premises, in the relevant sectors.</p><p> </p><p>Coach Tour Operators are not eligible for the Restart Grant Scheme but maybe able to access discretionary support through the Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG). Local Authorities are free to provide ARG support that suits their local area and guidance for ARG makes clear that Local Authorities are able to issue ARG grants to tour operator businesses. My Rt. Hon.
