answer text <p>The Government is providing Cost of Living Payments for those who face wider affordability challenges, including £900 to households on means tested benefits, of £300 to pensioner households and of £150 to those on eligible disability benefits.</p><p> </p><p>This is in addition to ongoing winter support payments such as the Warm Home Discount, Winter Fuel Payment and Cold Weather Payments.</p><p> </p><p>The Government continues to monitor the situation and will keep options under review, including with respect to the most vulnerable households.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Local Authorities applied for funding under Phase 2 of the Home Upgrade Grant within the bid window of September 2022 to January 2023, and were able to begin delivering installs of energy efficiency measures from April 2023. answer text <p>The UK has decarbonised more than any other economy. Between 1990 and 2021, the UK reduced its emissions by 48%. The UK works through COP and other forums to advocate for faster decarbonisation.</p><p> </p><p>The UK is committed to spend £11.6bn on International Climate Finance (ICF) in those countries most affected by climate change. This includes a tripling of funding for climate adaptation from £500m in 2019 to £1.5bn in 2025.</p><p> </p><p>In the published International Development White Paper, the UK announced that it will aim for more than half of all bilateral aid to go to least developed countries.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government has set out a package of policies to help install 600,000 heat pumps per year by 2028:</p><p> </p><p>On training, the £5 million Heat Training Grant is expected to support 6,000 trainees in England to become heat pump installers.</p><p>On manufacturing, the £30 million Heat Pump Investment Accelerator Competition aims to increase our manufacturing capacity.</p><p>On affordability, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme offers grants of £7,500 for heat pump installations, VAT has been eliminated on heat pump installations until 2027, and the Heat Pump Ready innovation programme supports projects to reduce whole life costs of heat pumps.</p> more like this
