answer text <p>The Federated Data Platform and Associated Services (FDP-AS) procurement is currently live. It is anticipated that a supplier will be selected in the coming weeks and a contract will be awarded in late September. This procurement process has not concluded, and no contract has been awarded as yet.</p><p>NHS England has put in place a new 12-month transition contract with Palantir to support the safe transition and exit from the incumbent supplier to the new FDP-AS supplier when it is awarded and established. Further detail on this contract can be found on Contracts Finder.</p><p>This contract notice references the future FDP-AS contract for context, however it should be noted that it is a separate contract and procurement process.</p> more like this

answer text <p>I routinely meet with Welsh Government Ministers to discuss a variety of issues. In addition, my officials regularly engage with Welsh Government officials regarding R&amp;D support for Welsh businesses and universities, including health-based R&amp;D.</p><p> </p><p>The UK Government is investing £39.8 billion on R&amp;D between 2022 and 2025, the largest amount ever. This will contribute to the Prime Minister’s ambition to cement the UK as a science and technology superpower by 2030, in which businesses and universities in Wales will play a key role.</p><p> </p><p>I have recently visited all of the universities in Wales and I have also visited many businesses within the Welsh Life Sciences and MedTech sectors. I have greatly appreciated seeing the innovative technologies that are contributing to the Welsh R&amp;D landscape because of excellent research and collaboration between academia and industry.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) places obligations on Parties to ensure international trade in wildlife is legal and sustainable.</p><p> </p><p>Defra has worked closely with industry since leaving the EU to understand trade volumes and value, and to look at ways to minimise burdens and friction without reducing our high standards of environmental protection.</p><p> </p><p>One option if travelling with a musical instrument for performance purposes is to apply for a CITES Musical Instrument Certificate (MIC). This is a streamlined process, specifically for musicians, which facilitates repeat movements over the course of three years. MICs are currently free of charge.</p><p> </p><p>Defra will continue to work collaboratively with industry and other stakeholders to understand their needs, balance them against our duty to protect wildlife under the Convention, and identify priorities, as we prepare for the next meeting of the CITES Conference of Parties in 2025.</p>

They confirmed the initiative was set up to address large and longstanding differences in attainment between black heritage students and white British students in Haringey. Whilst the initiative is targeted towards black heritage students, it is open to pupils of all ethnicities. They also confirmed that the programme does not introduce pupils to critical race theory.</p><p>The Department’s guidance to schools on political impartiality is clear. Schools must remain politically impartial and should be mindful of the need not to promote partisan political views to pupils.</p><p>As an out of school setting, the NIA Academy is not regulated under education or childcare law. This means that the Department does not set the admissions framework for these settings, and so the Department has not contacted the organisation directly.</p>
