answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/10/2022 answer text <p>With government support, voluntary and community sector organisations have shown significant resilience over the past two years, and will again be crucial in supporting communities and households over the winter.</p><p>My officials regularly engage with the sector on issues affecting them and the communities they serve, and we will continue to work with them to monitor the impact of rising energy costs facing the elderly.</p><p>The Government has set out decisive action through the energy price guarantee to support households with their energy bills over the winter months, saving the average household at least £1,000 a year based on current energy prices from October. This is in addition to the £400 energy bills discount for all households and the £300 pensioner cost of living payment where applicable. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/10/2022 answer text <p>We have seen good early progress in 5G network deployment, and are pleased that two Mobile Network Operators now offer 5G to more than 50% of the UK population. This delivers on our ambition for the majority of the population to have access to 5G by 2027 five years early. Our Wireless Infrastructure Strategy will set out how we can realise the full benefits of 5G for the UK. We aim to publish later this year.</p><p>We have made reforms to the planning system in England to support the deployment of 5G and help extend mobile coverage. Alongside this, the Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure Bill, currently before Parliament, amends the Electronic Communications Code to encourage faster and more collaborative negotiations for the installation and maintenance of telecoms equipment.</p><p>The next generation of mobile technology, referred to as “6G”, is still some years away and is currently in the early stages of development. We want to ensure that the UK continues to be at the forefront of future communications systems and technology. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/10/2022 answer text <p>The Government is committed to supporting UK creatives to adapt to new arrangements when touring in the EU. The UK took an ambitious approach during negotiations with the EU that would have ensured that touring artists and their support staff did not need work-permits to perform in the EU. The Government deeply regrets that the EU rejected our proposals.</p><p>Our focus now is on supporting the sector by providing clarity, working with Member States, and implementing unilateral measures where possible. This includes the introduction of a ‘dual registration’ measure to help specialist hauliers move across the UK and EU.</p><p>The vast majority of Member States offer visa and work permit free routes for musicians and creative performers. This includes Spain, which introduced 90-day visa- and work permit- free touring in November 2021, and Greece, which announced a visa and work permit free route for UK creatives in June 2022, both following engagement by the UK Government and the sector.</p><p>We are aware that musicians and their support staff are concerned about the 90 in 180 day Schengen limit. Beyond this limit, creatives will be required to obtain the relevant visa or work permit for the relevant Member State, as artists from other third countries are required to do.</p><p>As rules and definitions vary across Member States, travellers should check with Member States’ own guidance before they travel. That is why we have worked closely with Member States to ensure their guidance is clear and accessible.
