answer text <p>On 6 July 2021, the Department announced that six local transport authorities had been progressed to the second phase of the ‘fast track’ element of the Zero Emission Bus Regional Areas (ZEBRA) scheme:</p><ul><li>Cambridgeshire &amp; Peterborough Combined Authority</li><li>Kent County Council</li><li>Leicester City Council</li><li>Milton Keynes Brough Council</li><li>Warrington Borough Council</li><li>West Midlands Combined Authority</li></ul><p>An announcement on which local transport authorities have been awarded funding is expected to take place in the autumn.</p><p>The deadline for local transport authorities to submit Expressions of Interest to the ‘standard track’ element was 2 July 2021. The Department will announce which local transport authorities have been progressed to the next phase of the competition in due course.</p> more like this
