answer text <p>At November 2020, £3.414bn has been spent and committed on the property acquisition programme for Phase One and Phase 2a. No detailed estimates have been produced on the resale value of the property acquired to date on those phases in the event of project cancellation. Subject to wider property disposal rules, the Government’s policy is to sell any land and property not needed for the HS2 programme for its full, unblighted open-market value.
