Unfortunately, given the current circumstances, the Government must focus its communications on tackling Covid-19. Therefore, the publication of the Government response is delayed. Spending 0.7 percent of our national income on aid is enshrined in law and the UK continues to abide by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's Development Assistance Committee rules for aid. The teams at Oxford University and Imperial College are the most progressed in terms to developing a vaccine candidate and entering clinical trials, in the UK.
