The number of social homes failing to meet the Decent Homes Standard is down 32 per cent since 2010.</p><p>The Social Housing Green Paper ‘A new deal for social housing’ (August 2018) recognised that the Decent Homes Standard has not been revised since 2006 and asked whether it should be reviewed to consider whether it delivers the right standards for social housing.
