answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/12/2018 answer text <p>Asylum seekers are not allowed to work in the UK unless their claim has been outstanding for at least 12 months through no fault of their own. <br>The data requested on the number of asylum seekers granted permission to work in 2018 is only held on paper case files or within the notes sections of the Home Office's databases. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/12/2018 answer text <p>The Home Office oversees the exchange of notes arrangements to share company beneficial ownership information between UK law enforcement agencies, the British Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies.</p><p>The government reviewed the Exchange of Notes arrangements earlier this year, after six months of operation, and found that all the arrangements were working well. This is described in a Written Ministerial Statement of 1st May 2018 (HLWS641).
