answer text <p>The role of the Data Protection Officer in the Department is at present filled on an interim basis, pending substantive recruitment in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation’s Article 39. The interim role holder previously worked as the Department’s Head of Data Privacy and is a qualified Data Protection Practioner.</p><p> </p><p>In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation’s Articles 37 to 39, the Data Protection Officer reports directly to the highest level of management within the Department, including the Permanent Secretary. The role itself sits within the Department’s Digital and Technology function.</p><p> </p><p>Published details as to how to contact the Data Protection Officer are available on the GOV.UK website through the Personal Information Charter page.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The FCO received a request on 27 November for a telephone conversation between the Prime Minister and President Poroshenko, to discuss the situation around the Sea of Azov. The Prime Minister is receiving regular updates on this issue, is following events closely and will engage President Poroshenko as events continue to unfold. Our full diplomatic network is engaging on an international response. We are in very close contact in Kyiv. The Foreign Secretary spoke to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Klimkin on 29 November, when he reaffirmed the UK’s solidarity with Ukraine. The Foreign Secretary also participated in a lunch with EU Foreign Ministers and FM Klimkin in the margins of the 10 December EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government notes the judgment of the CJEU. But we have been clear that we will not be revoking Article 50. The British people gave the Government a clear instruction, and we will be leaving the EU on 29th March 2019.</p><p>A clear majority of the electorate voted to leave the EU and we must respect both the will of the British people, and the democratic process which delivered this result.</p><p> </p> more like this
