answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/12/2018 answer text <p>For the past four years of the First World War centenary, we have supported a number of projects that have highlighted the contribution of the Chinese Labour Corps. We supported the ‘Unremembered Project’, which recognised the contribution made by labour corps from across Asia, Africa and the Caribbean, and this included a focus on the Chinese Labour Corps. We also supported the Meridian Society to work in schools and communities to highlight the almost 100,000 men recruited by Britain to provide essential logistical support in Europe. Currently, we are also supporting the <a href="http://ensuringweremember.org.uk/" target="_blank"> ‘Ensuring We Remember</a> ’ campaign, to create a permanent memorial in central London, to be unveiled in 2019. This applies whether the tenancy is in both names; or if the tenancy is only in a single name. The accrued periods still apply individually if the couple separate or divorce. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government's approach to transposition of the two Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision Directives for the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) reflects the fact that it is a statutory public service scheme. The appropriate response is therefore different than it is for other, trust-based schemes. Having taken legal advice, our view is that the current governance arrangements of the LGPS, set out in the LGPS Regulations and the broader suite of local authorities' statutory obligations, are sufficient to meet the objectives of the directive. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government is committed to reducing homelessness and rough sleeping. No one should ever have to sleep rough. That is why we have recently published our Rough Sleeping Strategy, which will help people who sleep rough now and puts in place the structures to end rough sleeping once and for all. It sets out the first steps towards achieving our aim to halve rough sleeping by 2022 and end it altogether by 2027, backed by £100 million of funding over the next two years.</p><p>We have set up a Rough Sleeping and Homelessness Reduction Taskforce which brings together ministers from key departments in preventing and reducing rough sleeping and homelessness, including the Department for Health and Social Care. The Taskforce will drive forward the implementation and delivery of our Rough Sleeping Strategy to achieve our commitment. Alongside the Taskforce, we have an expert Rough Sleeping Advisory Panel formed of key representatives from the homelessness sector and local government who fed into the Strategy and will continue to meet.</p><p>We are also committed to working with all local authorities as we move towards a country where no one should ever sleep rough through our Rough Sleeping Initiative, in which we are providing 1,750 additional bed spaces for rough sleepers and an additional 531 dedicated homelessness workers.
