<p>The Department constantly monitors the UK’s gas security of supply. The Department and Ofgem conduct an annual statutory security of supply report that was most recently submitted to Parliament on 6<sup>th</sup> November 2018 (Can be found <a href="https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/753170/BEIS_Ofgem_Statutory_Security_of_Supply_Report_2018.pdf" target="_blank">here</a>). In addition, in October 2015, the then Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change committed to a 5-year cycle of reviews of the UK’s gas security of supply. The most recent publication in this series was in October 2017 (Can be found <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/651297/gas-security-supply-assessment.pdf" target="_blank">here</a>).</p>
