<p>The department will be running a public consultation regarding the funding of the rise in employer contributions for the Teachers’ Pension Scheme and has already agreed to delay the introduction of these changes until September 2019. The department will use the consultation to better understand the impact of the proposed changes on the affected English higher education institutions to decide what, if any, action should be taken.</p><p> </p>
