In October 2018, the Government, Boeing and ADS (the UK trade association) organised a Defence Supplier Showcase.</p><p>The Prosperity Framework with Lockheed Martin was signed in July 2018. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/11/2018 answer text <p>We are carefully monitoring the impact of the apprenticeship levy in different sectors and are establishing new channels for working with employers in the creative industries to make sure that the levy can empower businesses to make a sustainable investment in the apprenticeship training they need.</p><p>The apprenticeship levy is collected from employers by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/11/2018 answer text <p>Our new high quality apprenticeship standards are developed by employers and contain the skills, knowledge and behaviours that an apprentice needs to be occupationally competent, including science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) content where appropriate. Employers are able to choose the standards that best suit their needs and can determine how off the job training content is delivered. We have therefore not made an assessment of the costs to employers of providing STEM off the job training content.</p><p>The criteria that the Institute for Apprenticeships uses to decide the level of STEM content required by apprenticeship standards is a matter for the Institute. I have asked its Chief Executive, Sir Gerry Berragan, to write to the right hon. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/11/2018 answer text <p>Public Health England (PHE) has run a number of ‘Be Clear on Cancer’ (BCOC) campaigns to help improve early detection of cancer. In 2014 PHE ran a regional ovarian cancer campaign in the North West of England, and in 2017 a pilot which focussed on a range of abdominal symptoms, such as diarrhoea, bloating and discomfort that can be indicative of a number of cancers, including ovarian cancer was carried out in the East and West Midlands. PHE is currently undertaking new data analysis and research to determine the future direction of BCOC activity in 2019/20 and will take into consideration the outcomes of these previous campaigns. Since that date, existing schemes have been unwound and there have been no further known iterations of these schemes. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/11/2018 answer text <p>In Merseyside, Arts Council England (ACE) has increased their National portfolio funding by 14% for the 2018-22 funding period. This includes investment in a number of theatre organisations, such as Liverpool Everyman, the Unity Theatre, the Royal Court, Collective Encounters and 20 Stories High.</p><p> </p><p>A new addition to ACE’s National portfolio for this period is Culture Liverpool, who have built on the legacy of European Capital of Culture 2008 to play a leading role in large scale outdoor and public art commissions. Culture Liverpool recently delivered the theatre production ‘Giant Spectacular’ which took place across Liverpool and the Wirral for a weekend, attracting over 1 million visitors.</p><p> </p><p>In addition to ACE’s National portfolio investment, they have made 81 awards from the Lottery-funded Grants for the Arts and Project Grants schemes to support theatre projects across Merseyside since April 2015, with investment totalling more than £1 million.
