<p>At the Autumn Budget 2018, the Chancellor announced the launch of a retail relief scheme worth almost £900 million for retail properties with a rateable value of below £51,000. The scheme will provide a one third discount in 2019/20 and 2020/21 to eligible retail properties, including independent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés.</p><p> </p>
