To do this we need to build on research and innovation excellence across the UK.</p><p>The Science and Innovation Audits (SIAs) are identifying and validating areas of potential globally competitive advantage across the UK to provide evidence to help underpin future investment decisions. Edinburgh &amp; South East Scotland City Region’s SIA on data driven innovation undertaken in wave 1 has helped to inform and evidence their Edinburgh Region City Deal which includes funding for innovation projects. The Department works closely with counterparts in the devolved administrations in order to share best practice of treatment and care.</p><p> </p><p>The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is responsible for producing guidelines for best practice of treatment and care. Treatments such as Continuous Subcutaneous Insulin Infusion (CSII) or ‘insulin pump' therapy may be brought into routine use in the National Health Service after their efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness have been appropriately demonstrated.</p><p> </p><p>Health is a devolved matter under the devolution settlements and thus it would be a matter for the devolved administrations to determine their use of diabetic pumps. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/03/2018 answer text <p>NHS England commissions work on specialised Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) through the Specialised Respiratory Clinical Reference Group (CRG) which is delivered through regional specialised commissioning teams.</p><p> </p><p>The CRG is chaired by Professor Mike Morgan, NHS England’s National Clinical Director for Respiratory Disease. The CRG and commissioners actively engage with PH clinicians and the patient community in supporting policy development. The Pulmonary Hypertension Association was encouraged to apply both as patient voice members and to register as a stakeholder to the CRG.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England has published a service specification which sets out what the related centre and shared care model should look like. Ofgem is responsible for regulating energy suppliers against this obligation.</p><p> </p><p>Ofgem will make decisions on whether to take action against energy suppliers that do not comply with their smart meter obligations in line with their Enforcement Guidelines. This is consistent with the approach taken on any other regulatory breaches by energy suppliers. A number of factors are taken into account including customer detriment.
