answer text
As I explained in the adjournment debate on 11 January, there are a number of parties whose needs must be considered and it would be wrong to look at one party’s issues in isolation. Government must carefully weigh the impact on the security of pensions members have worked hard for, the remaining employers in the scheme, the PPF and its levy payers, when considering whether any change to the current regime is justified.
more like this

answer text
The Scottish Government will receive the equivalent spend by Network Rail in Scotland in Control Period 5, plus a population share of the equivalent change in spend in England and Wales between Control Period 5 and Control Period 6. The Scottish Government will also receive usual Barnett consequentials on any additional enhancements committed for England and Wales in due course at future fiscal events. This is consistent with current funding arrangements under the Barnett Formula.
more like this
