The Department’s Behaviour and Discipline in Schools statutory guidance, which applies to governing bodies sets out that police should always be informed where behaviour is of a criminal nature or poses a serious threat to a member of the public. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/10/2017 answer text <p>We believe that every eligible child, regardless of their need or disability, should be able to access the 30 hours. The early implementation of 30 hours showed that local areas that had put in place measures to support the participation of special educational needs and disability (SEND) children were successful in delivering extended places to children with additional needs, including those with very complex needs.</p><p> </p><p>We have put in place a range of measures to support local areas. Our National Funding Formula includes an additional needs factor which directs more funding to local authorities with more need. And our new Disability Access Fund, worth £615 per child, and the requirement that local authorities establish a SEN Inclusion Fund, will help to ensure children with SEND can access and get the best from the 30 hours. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/10/2017 answer text <p>The Government has already made great strides in empowering teachers to tackle bad behaviour, making clear teachers can use reasonable force to maintain behaviour, extending their searching powers and allowing teachers to impose same-day detentions.</p><p> </p><p>Recognising poor behaviour is still a problem in some schools. The Government commissioned behaviour expert Tom Bennett to conduct two independent reviews on behaviour. The first, focused on initial teacher training (published July 2016). The second, focused on behaviour management in schools, with a particular focus on leadership, culture and systems used to tackle disruptive pupil’s behaviour (published March 2017). We believe it is right to prioritise core schools funding, even as we continue the vital task of repairing the public finances. Making savings and efficiencies allows us to maximise the funding which is allocated directly to schools, which can ensure that it is spent where it will have the greatest impact. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/10/2017 answer text <p>The independent evaluations of 30 hours’ early implementation and early rollout found no evidence of any adverse effects on the universal and two year-old free entitlements.</p><p> </p><p>The early rollout evaluation report showed that 30% of providers delivering 30 hours’ places increased their overall free entitlement places, and only 1% decreased places.</p><p>The early implementer evaluation was published on 17 July 2017 and the early rollout evaluation was published on 31 August. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/10/2017 answer text <p>Through the primary PE and sport premium, the government has invested over £600m of ring-fenced funding to primary schools to improve PE and sport since 2013. The government has doubled the premium from September 2017 using revenue from the Soft Drinks Industry Levy.</p><p> </p><p>£100m from the Soft Drinks Industry Levy will be used for the Healthy Pupils Capital Fund. The funding is for one year only (2018-19). We have been clear that getting the funding right is critical to successful delivery of this new entitlement and are monitoring carefully its implementation. We have also committed to keep under review the data underpinning the early years national funding formula.</p><p> </p><p>We will continue to use census data collections and market surveys to monitor and evaluate the childcare market, conduct longitudinal research through the Study of Early Education and Development (SEED), and undertake our long-standing, nationally representative surveys of providers and parents.
