<p>The work of HM Inspectorate of Prisons (HMIP) is vital to our prison system. We have taken immediate action to address the recommendations made by HMIP.</p><p>Additional resources are being provided to help HMP Bedford to improve safety, including the introduction of body worn cameras, upgraded CCTV, and HMP Bedford will also receive additional staff as part of plans to increase staffing levels across the estate.</p>
