This includes information about trade and investment opportunities; regularly updated guidance on the Overseas Business Risk; support for companies with Intellectual Property cases (worth tens of millions of pounds to British business per year); and analysis of legislative and regulatory changes.</p><p>We encourage all companies doing business in and with China to carry out their own due diligence and build their understanding of the market, including through the knowledge and insights of local partners and professional advisers. <br> <br>The Chancellor of the Exchequer, my right hon. Friend the Member for Tatton (Mr Osborne), discusses economic and financial collaboration in his annual Economic and Financial Dialogue with China. We also run a number of projects to help improve the business environment in China, including on commercial arbitration, inward investment and anti-corruption. The UK is supporting moderate opposition groups through the US-led train and equip programme. In 2014, only 22 countries executed people; while 140 countries were abolitionist in law or practice. The UK used targeted diplomacy and financial support for international non-governmental organisations, Parliamentarians and human rights lawyers in our efforts to persuade other governments to abolish the Death Penalty. Iran’s use of IR-1 centrifuges is central to its enrichment and, consequently, breakout capability.
