answer text <p>We expect that the global price for solar PV will continue to fall over coming years but it is difficult to state with certainty when subsidies will no longer be required. Taking account of uncertainty, some UK projects may begin to reach parity with wholesale or retail electricity prices in the latter years of this decade, depending on the electricity price scenario used, the speed of cost reductions, and the geographical location.</p> more like this
