answer text <p /> <p>Financial Penalties for aggravated breach of employment law, under section 16 of the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013, were introduced on 6 April 2014. Financial penalties are intended to be used in exceptional circumstances where employers have deliberately flouted the law, and whose behaviour is malicious or negligent.</p><p> </p><p>Three have been imposed to date. One has been paid. The other two are currently unpaid.</p> more like this
