In December 2021, we announced that an independent review of the impact of the Sexual Health, Reproductive Health and HIV Innovation Fund had been commissioned. The review has now been completed and we are currently considering its findings to inform further steps in 2022. Decisions on future investment in the Fund will be made in due course. In 2021/22, £300,000 was allocated to the Innovation Fund.<\/p>
The Fund aims to support projects which address inequalities and focus on those with poor sexual and reproductive health and HIV outcomes. Bids for funding have previously been assessed on sustainability and how learning will be shared across the sector, including into national services. There are several organisations that have produced estimates for outstanding late payment debt, and the disparities between them can be sizeable due to different methodologies and sample sizes. The government keeps estimates under continuous review, including Pay.UK figures.<\/p>

It is for local authorities to ensure that there is sufficient infrastructure and amenities for large housing developments, and this Government is making sure that they have the means to do so. We are committed to ensuring that housebuilding is accompanied by suitable infrastructure to foster new and strong communities. The Housing White Paper sets out the importance of the timely provision of infrastructure in housing development, supported by our £2.3 billion Housing Infrastructure Fund.<\/p>
The National Planning Policy Framework recognises that the planning system can play an important role in facilitating social interaction and creating healthy, inclusive communities. It asks local planning authorities to create a shared vision with local communities of the residential environment and facilities they wish to see.<\/p>

<\/strong><\/p> The recent IFS report is positive about the Government\u2019s new approach to tackling the root causes of poverty: they said that \u201cfocusing on a broad range of inputs into life chances and causes of poverty is sensible.\u201d They also add that \u201cfamily worklessness certainly is a sensible thing to track if one wants to reduce the prevalence of low living standards.\u201d<\/p> <\/p> This Government knows that work remains the best route out of poverty. Research shows that around three-quarters of poor children in families that move into full employment exit poverty. We are committed to supporting parents to move into work, increase their earnings, and keep more of what they earn. Universal Credit, our investment in childcare and the introduction of the National Living Wage will all play an important part.<\/p> <\/p> The Government also recognises that improving skills and progression is the key to making work pay. That is why under this Government we intend to create three million more apprenticeships over the next five years, and to help people move on to better jobs by improving qualifications and providing additional support through Jobcentre Plus.<\/p>"}
