As legislation is brought forward to enable the national roll out of voter identification, appropriate impact assessments, which include information on costs, will be provided for Parliament in the normal way.<\/p>
Showing identification to prove who they are is something people of all walks of life already do everyday. It is a reasonable and proportionate approach to extend this practice to voting and give the public confidence that their vote is theirs, and theirs alone.<\/p>

No estimate has been made, but my Department has asked local authorities and housing associations to provide data on the external walls systems of their high-rise residential buildings of 18 metres or above. This exercise is part of an ongoing programme to build a more complete picture of the variety of external wall systems in use. The National Health Service and wider health system has examined how to sustain and improve care \u2013 which produced the NHS Five Year Forward View. The Government committed to providing an additional £10 billion in real terms by 2020-21 to back the NHS\u2019s plan, enabling it to deliver key priorities like seven day care, improved access to cancer treatments and better mental health services.<\/p>
<\/p>
All public services, local NHS areas need to live within the budget agreed \u2013 otherwise they effectively take up resources that could be spent on GPs, mental health care, and cancer treatment. As part of their financial planning, NHS England and NHS Improvement have been running a process to look at how a small number of areas could do more to balance their financial plans, as many already have.<\/p>
<\/p>
This Government is investing over £1 billion on mental health per year.<\/p>"}

We use private contractors to deliver aid where they can provide the best results and value for taxpayers' money, which is the sensible approach to take. In the past year alone, this has included building treatment centres to defeat Ebola in Sierra Leone, delivering life-saving aid to Syrian refugees, and providing shelter to people who have lost their homes in the Nepal earthquake. A recent Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI) report noted that the rates paid by DFID were \u201chighly competitive\u201d. Individual companies set the rates for their contractors.<\/p>"}
