The UK has trebled its aid commitment for this financial year and is working closely with partners in international agencies and in the region to get aid to where it is desperately needed.<\/p>
We played a leading role in securing the passage of Security Council resolution 2720, which set out the urgent demand for expanded humanitarian access, and supported the United Nations World Food Programme to deliver a new humanitarian land corridor from Jordan into Gaza, with 750 metric tons of life-saving food aid arriving in the first delivery. The Foreign Secretary continues to discuss and press for the action that needs to be taken to increase aid to Gaza in his regular calls with his Israeli, Egyptian, Jordanian, Lebanese, US and Palestinian Authority counterparts. Activities involving the taking and sharing of intimate images are captured by existing offences, for example those tackling revenge pornography, voyeurism, harassment, malicious communications, blackmail, and coercive or controlling behaviour.<\/p>
<\/p>
To strengthen further the law in this area, the Government recently announced that the \u201crevenge porn\u201d offence will be extended to capture those who threaten<\/em> to disclose such material. Provisions to extend the parameters of the offence in this manner were introduced in the Domestic Abuse Act.<\/p> <\/p> The provisions will come into force two months after Royal Assent: on 29 June this year.<\/p> <\/p> However, the Government recognises that there is concern over the growth of new technology and the impact on the law in this area.<\/p> <\/p> We have asked the Law Commission to review the law in this area to ensure victims are properly protected. The Law Commission published a public consultation to this review on 26 February this year.<\/p> <\/p> The consultation period ended on 27 May and I understand the Law Commission intends to publish its findings by Spring 2022. <\/strong><\/p> <\/p> The Government awaits the Law Commission\u2019s findings with interest and shall consider them carefully.<\/p>"}

I have also received a request to meet from the patient stakeholder organisation, Fertility Fairness, and intend to meet them later in the autumn.<\/p> <\/p> Information about clinical commissioning groups (CCSs) that have fully implemented the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) fertility guidelines is not collected centrally.<\/p> <\/p> CCGs are responsible for commissioning local health services and ensuring the needs of the local health population are met. NHS England is responsible for oversight of the commissioning system. The NICE guidelines are evidence-based best practice for clinicians but are not mandatory.<\/p> The Government's policy is that CCGs should implement the NICE guidelines in full. This includes the NICE recommendation that three cycles of IVF is offered to qualifying couples where the woman is under the age of 40 and one cycle where the woman is between the ages of 40 and 42.<\/p> NHS England has advised that the IVF benchmark price will be developed during 2017/18 with support from the IVF Expert Advisory Group and all key stakeholders, working towards publishing the IVF benchmark price ready for the financial year 2018/19. It is also planning to develop and test an IVF outcome-based payment approach with a number of CCGs and service providers in 2018/19.<\/p> NHS England and professional and stakeholder groups, including the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, are working together to develop commissioning guidance. This guidance aims to improve the quality of commissioning and further encourage the implementation of the NICE fertility guidelines. NHS England has agreed to disseminate and promote the commissioning guidance to all CCGs in England.<\/p>"}
