We recognise the importance of the provision of children\u2019s content, as it stimulates learning and informs young people\u2019s understanding of the world around them. Ofcom, as the independent regulator of television and radio, is currently reviewing public service broadcasters\u2019 plans to address concerns relating to the current level of children\u2019s programming. We look forward to Ofcom\u2019s report, which is due to be published this Summer.<\/p>

The Arts Council England (ACE) invests substantially in supporting the music education landscape. The Arts Council\u2019s £75m investment in music education hubs reflects the government\u2019s belief that all students should have access to an excellent, well-rounded education which includes the arts and music.
