We continue to work closely with local authorities (LAs) and share regular, timely and relevant data and Management Information in the form of heat maps to allow effective planning and understand the geographical distribution of asylum seekers in the UK.<\/p>
Whilst provision of healthcare is not a statutory duty or obligation for the Home Office, ensuring those in our care are sufficiently looked after and safe is the right thing to do. Home Office and health partners already collaborate with local authorities and others, to make this happen at an operational and tactical level; however, strategic oversight and shared direction have been lacking.<\/p>
We are building on these products and following feedback from LAs, have increased the breadth of information contained to include further details including accommodation type and demographics.<\/p>
In conjunction with our strategic migration partnerships, we continue to work with LA forums and other partners to understand and identify ways of managing impacts.<\/p>
Heatmaps are shared with local authorities to provide an indication of the number of decisions and therefore cessations that could flow through down to LA level because of the increase in decisions made this year. The Government is committed to supporting disabled people affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.We are ensuring that disabled people continue to have access to employment support, disability benefits, financial support, as well as accessible communications and updated guidance.<\/p>

The scheme provides a wide range of period products for schools and 16-19 organisations to choose from. This includes environmentally friendly pads, reusable pads, organic non-applicator tampons and menstrual cups. The ingredients for each product are provided on the ordering portal and in the scheme\u2019s guidance.<\/p>

Schools and colleges know their learners best and have the freedom to select the most suitable products for their learners, considering cost and type of product. We are monitoring product choice closely and will continue to seek opportunities to encourage the use of sustainable products as the scheme develops.<\/p>

The UK is the G20 leader in reducing the carbon intensity of its economy, and is using a range of policy levers \u2013 including spending and taxes \u2013 to support the UK\u2019s transition to a low-carbon economy.<\/p>
<\/p>
The Clean Growth Strategy set out significant investment by the Government in decarbonisation including £2.5 billion to support low carbon innovation from 2015-2021, £4.5bn to support development of renewable and low carbon heating through the Renewable Heat Incentive and £1 billion to support the uptake of ultra-low emissions vehicles. In addition, government has supported the deployment of renewable electricity projects, with annual consumer support now reaching over £10bn.<\/p>
<\/p>
HMT has accepted the Committee on Climate Change\u2019s (CCC) recommendation to conduct a review into the costs and benefits of transitioning to a net zero economy. The Review will consider how to achieve this transition in a way that works for households, businesses and public finances.<\/p>

Carbon pricing has helped to drive down UK emissions, in particular from the power sector, and will continue to play an important role to help meet the UK\u2019s legally binding carbon reduction commitments, which are unaffected by leaving the EU.<\/p>

The government is considering long-term options for carbon pricing including the possibility of linking a UK greenhouse gas emissions trading system with the EU ETS.
