The Department of Health and Social Care does not carry out specific health impact assessments for Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). Section 42 of the Agriculture Act 2020 commits the Government to produce a report which examines new FTAs in the context of their impact on domestic statutory protections in the United Kingdom, including the impact on human health. This report must be laid in Parliament as part of the scrutiny process. This process will apply to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) Agreement.<\/p>

The Government encourages users of fireworks to follow safety guidance, including keeping pets safe. We also advise users to be considerate of neighbours by giving plenty of notice.<\/p>
The Office for Product Safety and Standards\u2019 recent firework safety campaign, delivered with partners including the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents reached over a million consumers.<\/p>
Further guidance on how to avoid or reduce stress to animals from fireworks has been published by animal charities, including Blue Cross, and can be accessed from gov.uk.<\/p>
