The performance standard for ambulance trusts responding to Category A calls is that an ambulance resource should arrive within eight minutes of the call 75% of the time.<\/p>

We understand that this year to date (1 April 2014 -28 November 2014) the London Ambulance Service has achieved a response rate to \u2018category A\u2019 calls in Westminster of 69.58%.<\/p>

We are providing extra support to the National Health Service \u2013 including £50 million to help ambulance trusts with additional demand and help them to return to meeting the standard as quickly as possible.<\/p>

We are deeply concerned about human rights abuses being experienced by Crimean Tatars, including a new wave of disappearances, as noted in the latest report by the Office for the High Commissioner for Human Rights and by the Council of Europe\u2019s Commissioner for Human Rights. The UK Permanent Representative to the UN in New York raised our concerns about the intimidation and harassment of Crimean Tatars, ethnic Ukrainians and all those who have refused Russian citizenship in Crimea in his statement to the UN Security Council on 12 November.<\/p>

The British High Commissioner laid a wreath on behalf of the British Government at the Armistice Sunday ceremony at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery at Wayne's Keep in Nicosia on 9 November 2014. The Committee suggests there is a direct link between the policy change and an increase in rough sleeping which we do not agree the evidence supports. The causes of rough sleeping are multiple and difficult to disentangle.
