There have been no prosecutions brought by EAS in relation to these investigations.<\/p> <\/p> <\/p> EAS seeks to raise awareness about the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations (2003), engaging with agencies to ensure compliance with the legislation. As part of this, EAS has carried out over 200 targeted inspections since 2016. EAS continues to handle a high number of complaints about non-payment or with-holding of pay and has helped secure over £1.4m for work seekers since 2008/9.<\/p>"}
